Almost spring!

Not much new to report. I'm still searching for jobs and picking up some temporary positions here and there. I've had a couple interviews in the past 2 weeks and am waiting to hear from one still. Wedding planning is also keeping me busy.

A few members of my family and I headed to Lindsborg, KS recently for my Great Uncle Bert and Great Aunt Marilyn's 50th wedding anniversary! It was an EXTREMELY short trip (I was actually in KS for only 13 hours!) but it was very great to see everyone! It had been almost 6 year since I was there last- the longest I've ever gone without going to Lindsborg. It was a yearly trip for us growing up.

I picked up a "Swartzendruber" Dala Horse to add some Swedish decor to our house. Here is a site giving some background information and history on the Dala Horse. http://www.dalahorse.com/
We took the record for having the longest last name painted on a horse at the local shop in Lindsborg.

Our calendar is very packed from now until the wedding. We are fitting in a couple fun things like going to Florida April 6 for a couple days. We found very inexpensive tickets to St. Petersburg and will be visiting a friend we haven't seen in some time. The Iowa Cubs season is about to start as well and we are so excited for that! With the weather starting to get nicer I have been outside more cleaning the yard up and checking things out for summer. We have lots of landscaping thoughts and plan to plant a garden. Assuming it doesn't rain on the weekend we have planned. We had to fit it into the calendar around trips here and there for the wedding and Holly's upcoming college graduation!

The cats, especially Powder- the white one, love to go outside now that the weather is nice. They beg all day long and scratch at the door to go out. It's really funny.

We took a trip last weekend to Sioux City where Aaron's sister and fiance live. *see- we're never home! :)*
We went to the site where their wedding will be in October, and the girls all went shopping for bridesmaid dresses. Hannah narrowed it down to the one she liked! Hannah and Jeremy's wedding is just one of 4 more for us to attend and take part in this year after our own wedding. It must be a great year to get married!

Hope everyone is doing well and we'll update more soon!
