Wedding information

The planning is coming along! The next and final big hurdle is the invitations. Assembling, addressing, printing this printing that....I find it a lot more of a project than I bargained for!
They will be in the mail mid April.

This is where Aaron and I and our immediate family will be staying. The hotel has a pool and it is right off the interstate. They can give you a rate of $74.99 for a standard 2 Queen bed room, or $84.99 for a King or 2 Queen suite. The suites include a pull out sofa, fridge, and microwave. These need to be reserved by May 31.

This hotel has no pool but is only 1 mile from the Quality Inn. They can give you a rate of $72.99 for a 2 Queen bed room. This will not be confirmed until Monday, March 20 if you choose to book there. These rooms need to be reserved by May 12.


The address for the ceremony and reception site is 5977 Mt. Vernon Rd SE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa if you want to google a map for directions. We will include some in the invitations as well.

There's a waterpark about 40 miles North of Cedar Rapids in Waterloo called Lost Island. It's really close to Cedar Falls for those of you that will be staying there before and after.

For those of you driving through Des Moines there is the Blank Park Zoo, the Botanical Center, the Science Center of Iowa and IMAX, and Adventureland theme park.
Aaron and I will be in Des Moines until the Wednesday before, then we will head to Cedar Falls. We will also be home the Monday after the wedding as our plane for the honeymoon doesn't take off until Tuesday. We'd love for anyone who wants to stop through and see the house!
